I have always wanted to make one of these stitched love notes. I think my fiance (Neal) would appreciate it. I just got my "new" 1928 singer sewing machine up and running. I think I will give it a try.

Route 66 is Calling My Name

I am DYING to do the Route 66 road trip...ALL OF IT. I am really into the roadside attractions thing. I want to buy as much reading material and trip planning material as I can. I was thinking of doing it for a honeymoon, but I think that I will need much more time to plan than just a year since I still have a year of college left...including student teaching! Anyway, I found some great resources and honestly can't wait. I really want to stay in the WigWam motel and see the Spindle...AAHH, I can't contain my excitement. I am thinking that this is going to be my big summer project, once my summer class is finished in late June. I hope Neal will be as excited as I am...and if he isn't, I'll just go on my own..haha (but I know he will love the idea- as long as I drive too). I think that this will be a great bonding experience for both of us. OH, and i really wanna make an EPIC traveling map like in the movie, Elizabethtown. I think that will make it even better...I will make a soundtrack to our trip and it will be amazing...I know I am a dreamer and often my ideas never become a reality, but this one is different. This one is close to my heart and once I have the money to make this a reality. I am going for it!!!!!!!!!

Cute....but for what?

 I came across these on the internet and I love them. I need to find a use for them because they are just to cute to waste. I think I might do something for my future niece/nephew!! Any suggestions?

Mustache Coasters (sorry, no clever name this time)

 I not only am obsessed with gnomes, but also mustaches. I love anything with a mustache. That is why I can't wait to make these coasters for my house. All I need to get is some plain cork coasters and some permanent markers and paint. I am so excited. No one should be this excited about coasters..haha

Teacher's Tat

This is one of my dream tattoos.  I want this soooooo badly. I will, however, be a teacher in a few years. I know that some schools are okay with tattoos and others are not. Hopefully, my school with give the "okay" for it.  Either way, I WILL HAVE THIS. I would love to have it on my wrist, though.  I hope I can get it this summer, or next...I will, for sure, have it by my wedding, which will be next summer!!!

Smitten Mittens

I saw these gloves and I have to make them. They would be so cute for when my fiancé and I go for walks in the late fall or winter.  I WILL, however, need to choose a color that he will wear. Haha.  I can't wait. They seem simple enough and really, how much more romantic can you get  ;)
